This sculpture series was inspired by an event in 2016 in Skegess, England. Five sperm whales were discovered dead on the beach, and the tail of one whale was graffiti’d with the text, “mans fault”. This sculpture was made with mixed media, utilizing ceramics, sand, glass, and acrylic paint for a tromp l’oeil effect. “Man’s Fault I” was originally designed in 2021 to hang on a vertical wall, however, it can additionall be purchased with a stand to display it on a horizontal surface.
