The “Effort” series was inspired by the early morning sunrises in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Using a combination of wood, sculpted glass, and repurposed glass, the materials are collaged together using principles of interior design and minimalism. The clear lustre glass changes in color and texture, mimicking the moving reflections on the water. This artwork is meant to be displayed hanging from a vertical surface or hanging from a cieling.
